E and a couple of her friends went to ‘Louisiana Alive!’ last night!  This is always one of my favorite parties each year! Hundreds of Louisianans in one room, tons of beads, food and chefs flown up from Louisiana restaurants (including Acme oysters, flown up DAY OF), flowing alcohol, four bands, acrobats twirling on fabric hanging from the ceiling, jugglers, people on stilts, and a second line. It’s the greatest, and makes me so proud to have been born a Louisianan!  For more info and pictures, check out roomie A’s blog!
